At least you have it documented, so now if the pump fails. You can go back to them, for warranty

Not necessary because it's not a temporary leak. Dealer claimed it's an air pocket.
To the OP, I would use a mirror and look at around the water pump and pulleys for any sign of pink residue.

If you have another dealership I would have it checked there as a second opinion.
