Default Rear view mirror issue

Has anyone have an issue with the auto rear view mirror? Where the power button keeps going on after I turn off the car. I have limo tint and with the auto darken in the rear view keeps coming on, I have to keep on turning it off each time

Do you by chance have a parking permit, or sticker on the outer side of the mirror? Like if you were standing in front of the car, would you see anything covering the back side of the mirror (non mirror side)? The reason I ask is there is another light sensor there, and if something is covering that also, the car will just always think its very dark outside.

Wow, that's strange. It shouldn't be powered up at all with the car off. At least I dont' think.

Let me rephrase, it's the rear view that darken the mirror. It's not on when the car is off, it just returns to on when I start the car after I've turned it off. Really weird, never happen in my old IS. Not a major issue just annoying lol
