Default GS300 2006 Electrical Short Sound

Dear All,

This is my first post in this forum. I do really like it.

I have a problem with my GS300 2006 model. Whenever i switch the engine off, there is a sound comes from the speakers as an electrical short sound. Its really annoying.

Has anyone came a cross similar problem & what should i do?

It can be one or more of your speakers or your sub that could've been blown, are you the 1st owner?

I was thinking the previous owner might have abused the sound system but if the sound system works perfectly as you've said then it could be something else. I'm sure there'll be others who can help or have experienced with this problem but you just have to be patience.

Thank you guys for the replies.

I found that there is a connection installed for the ipod outlet. Could this be the cause for it?
By the way the Audio CD sound is not working?? it plays the CD, but no sound comes from the speakers.
