Default pairing Samsung GalaxyIII w/ GS 350 2007

Hi,

I have searched online for info on this but can't find how to pair my new Samsung Galaxy 3 phone with my 2007 GS350 so I can use the Bluetooth and hands free. I previously had a blackberry and that was paired up with the car easily. I also managed to pair the Samsung phone with our 2011 Toyota Sienna so I know my Lexus and my new Samsung phone are capable of pairing, but apparently not with each other.

Any thoughts or help much appreciated.

Thanks

It should pair just as easy as you BB did, I have my iPhone 5, Android phone and my wife S3 paired to my car which is also a 07 GS350. Did you look in your owners manual, it should be something like phone menu>settings>bluetooth>add device/phone. Make sure that your S3 and GS are both set to search for devices. So I do not have the specifics, it has to be easy if my wife was able to figure it out w.o having to call me.

Also - make sure you delete any old previously paired devices. I ran into an issue with another car where it would only allow a max of 4 devices paired at any one time. After deleting the old devices, the new one was able to pair.

Thanks to all for your help. When I (think) re-registered my phone it seemed to solve the problem
