Default I have 2 questions......

1. Why do so many people have a problem with caliper covers?

2. Anybody have any info on flatbottom steering wheels for the 3gs? Been looking for one and can't find any.

Instead of painting the caliper red or whatever color, they sell metal covers that attach over them. They come in different colors and with options for graphics. I think MGP is the company. I don't have any problem with them, if you're after a clean/smooth look.

1) imo its cheap and tacky and does not even resemble a caliper. just paint

2) agreed, dont believe there is one. search sewell and see if the isf is compatible with the 3gs hub

To each is own on the caliper covers. I agree with IXI197IXI. They don't resemble any type of caliper that's made. Painting them is easy and cost less. You are in GA, I have some G2 read paint left over. Let me know and I'll let you have no cost.

Many people have a problem with using low-quality parts on a "Luxury" car.

It is your car- design it how you like it!
In general: The caliper covers take some work to install, anyway, so why not just prep and paint your calipers...
If you are looking for the stock BBK look- the covers are cheaper! (Unless you find a decent used set for free or cheap, from someone who has gone aftermarket BBK on their car.)

You are not going to find a "Lexus" steering wheel with a flat bottom that will work without a lot of modification. It would be easier to find a nice aftermarket wheel and hub set that you can make work. The most unsitely thing will be that you will not have a shroud or plastic cover over your hub anymore. Many of these are race applications so they look very aggresive and the don't fit the look of your interior!!! Good Luck on the wheel upgrade.
