Question Brake caliper Torques??

Hi all, I know this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find a proper answer. I've searched for workshop manuals and scoured the net but cannot seem to find the ansmwer to my question anywhere!

GS450h

Rear brake caliper Bolt (slider pin at the top of the caliper) Torque?

Caliper Bracket (where the caliper "carrier" bolts to the hub assembly) Torque?

Hope someone can help as I shall be installing a new caliper as I have already pulled the threads on my old caliper hence why I'm installing a new 1 LOL!!

LOL thats what I used to say until I overtightened the top slider pin bolt and pulled the threads out of the carrier! The worst bit was, you can't buy the carrier separate either! You have to buy the complete caliper! So all in all, for the sakes of a torque wrench, it cost me a lot of money

Still don't know the correct torques! Still didn't use a torque wrench, but didn't do it "murder tight" this time lol!

Would still be very Interested to find out the torque ratings for next time though!

Its ok to being a green horn, this is how you learn in mechanics.

on the IS350 the front calipers were 58 ft lbs and the rear was 40 ft lbs. The brakes are pretty similar. Definately have a torque wrench for all the important stuff if gives you a lot more confidence in your ability to put it back together.

Hahaha yea but the worst bit is, I'm no greenhorn! Been a mechanic for 5 years (3years apprenticeship with Mercedes-Benz, 2 years after that with chrysler-jeep/dodge) I now work on trains which tend to have BIG bolts that use 6ft torque wrenches and 3/4" drive air gun and 1" drive air guns lol!
Like I said it was an error of my own. I believe I overtightened the caliper slider bolt last time I replaced the pads, this time was difficult to undo all the way and when I did it up again the threads must of already been stretched so as I tightened it again it pulled the thread from the hole! It was a silly "newbie" mistake which hopefully I won't b making again any time soon! Specialy as I now know the torque

Thanks by the way much appreciated

Chilton online manual shows all the torques. I've looked HARD for a hard copy shop manual for my 2007 GS350 AWD and Chilton is the only source I found. It's subscription, which sucks, but you can copy to MSWord and save the info. Time consuming but if you get the annual subscription its about $24. Instructions are not super clear but they have pretty good drawings.
