Introduction - 2011 GS350
Hello everyone.
I recently purchased a RWD 2011 GS350 in Matador Red. This is my first Lexus and I must say that it is very nice. I was considering a new ES350, but decided that the GS350 was more my style. It really is a beautiful car, particularly since I come from a family whose cars are almost all some shade of gray (charcoal, silver, titanium, etc.)
I've been lurking on these forums for a couple of weeks and reading my manuals trying to learn as much as I can.
I don't have any mods planned (I have a 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 for that) other than my recent window tint job.
Here are a few pics, since
I look forward to more on CL.
Thanks,
Nelson

Thanks, everyone.
I was looking for something as close to new as possible without actually being brand new and I think I did that.
I really like the 18" OE rims on the GS350 and don't foresee changing even those anytime soon. For reference, I bought a set of rims for my 1990 Mustang last year and that was the first set of rims I bought for it since buying the car in 1991. I went from the 15" OE wheels to 17" wheels on the 'stang. The 18" GS350 wheels are the biggest wheels I've ever owned!
I've seen some really nice setups here on CL, but I think mine is going to stay the way it is.
For now, I'm just trying to familiarize myself with the GS350 as it seems to have more features than all my previous cars put together. The "Tips, Tricks, DIY's, & How-To's" thread has been helpful so far, particularly the DIY Oil Change, as this is the one thing I'll probably be taking care of most often. I have never had a car with the oil filter system like the one in the 3.5 V6, so this is also a first for me.
Maybe as I become more familiar with the car, I might make a mod or two....
