Default Real World Figures

V6 and V8 owners. What I would like to know is how many km's (you can put miles in and I can convert) do you get out of a full tank of fuel. I have seen the "official" figures and apparently there is a 2L/100km difference in fuel usage between the V6 and V8 engines. Also what sort of driving are you doing?

The majority of my driving is home to the train station, with weekend family travel and the occasional trip out to friend's houses etc.

I drive a RX330, so I can tell you that the fuel economy would be significantly better in either case.

Cheers

why don't YOU start?

Things like this is too general. There are so many variables going into the MPG.

Tires/road/driving habit/traffic/terrain/weather.

Just trying to get an average. I don't own a GS, I own an RX with a view to buying a GS. I am trying to make a decision between the V6 and the V8 for when I purchase my car.

I drive mostly in the city, I get about 12-13.5 mpg. Full tank 200-240 miles.

I drive 80% highway. I've noticed different "qualities" of gas here give me BIG variances in MPG. Some places "premium" gives worse MPG than other places regular? Now how accurate that guage is? I dunno.

My last tank got me ~700 km and it was all highway.

I typically get 600-620 km per tank.

And my car is the v6 AWD

i have an 06 AWD gs300 V6 and get 22 - 27 MPG and around 360 miles per tank. My driving is a mix of highway and normal streets. However I have my intake and exhaust done which increased my MPG by 2-3.

Mine is a V8, lowest was 18mpg and highest was 28mpg. I drive like crazy and mix highway/freeway/local/and stuck in traffic.
