Question Need help with the ignition wire power??

So I have been thinking to add some aftermarket DRL LEDs and wondering if I will run in to any problem with all the following connected to ignition wire.

2 x ?Watt 24" side-emitting 30LEDs strips
6 x 3Watt eagle eye LED

Do I have enough power from the ignition wire?

Thanks!

Why would you tap straight off the ignition line? It is indeed just that, for ignition only...

Have you considered running off the cig lighter line or something? The claims are a bit confusing as you say 2 x (?) watts..... while it is a 30-LED strip. It should tell you how many watts are in each LED, to kill the confusion. As for the 6x3w eagle eye LED, is that 6 LEDs at 3w each? That would mean 18w on the eagle eye, multiplying 18w x 12v= 1.5a pull. That's not much for a cig lighter considering you have 15a of play room.

Any line will be will good as long as they will light up when I push the start button.
For the strips, I have to ask cuz the description doesn't say how many watts. That's why have ?watt. =)
Yes, 6 LEDs at 3w each.
Looks like cig lighter line is a more safe way to tap them into since I only use it to charge my phone and not using it that often.

The DRL's will draw more current than the circuit for the cig plug can handle, when running aux lights i highly recommend using a relay and using the ignition as a trigger for the relay. But I would really recommend taking it to your local reputable stereo shop.

if you buy a simple relay from an auto store u can wire it directly to the battery of your car and use any wire that has 0v upon the car being off and 12v upon ignition. Dont use a test light to figure this out. only a meter.
