I count 12 speaker grills on the 2009 Levinson as follows : dash - 3, front doors - 2, rear doors - 4 and rear deck - 3. Where are the extra 2 speakers?

Nice! Didn't know they had diagrams for our cars like that, but that's for an IS, not GS

Yes, It's suppose to be more, you have a midrange in the corner where the tweeters are in the front. So that's the 2 extra. (yes, it really does make a difference for a 3-4in speaker)....
On another note, is it okay if I ask one of you to take out that front and measure how big the midrange is? I've been in the market for some Hertz 3-ways and want to make sure it's a DIRECT fit. mids and highs are directional so it's very important I make sure there's enough spacing for them.
Thanks! (would definitely help save us some space taken up.

Rear speaker is a 6.5in. If you're doing a direct drop-in (Lexus OEM), it isn't hard. If you're wanting to use aftermarket speakers, you will have to buy speaker adaptors.

Speaker 1 on dashboard is making crackling noise, like it is getting ready to blow out. Where is the best place to get it fixed and how much usually at dealer or from someone else?
