I noticed a slight pause (lag) and a very low/faint beep sound when changing tracks while using an older iTouch.

Haven't plugged in my wife's iPhone 4 to see if it's any better ??

Which model Samsung? You know that on phones like the Galaxy S3/S4 etc, you can control the volume of different media, independently? For example, you can have your ringer all the way up, and all other notifications muted (like emails, facebook status notification) etc. Or you can have your ringer totally turned off, but still listen to music.

On my Samsung, once you touch your volume up or down button, you can click on a settings icon and control volume for Ringtone, Media, Notifications and System, all independently, via sliders.

Very handy. I too, used to be bothered by my music muting to play that notification sound every time someone updated their FB status. But that is now a thing of the past.

I'm using the 30 pin to lightning and it's not that staticky. Just on some songs. But somtimes my 30 pin to lightning doesn't work and I have to unplug and plug the cord a couple of times to get it to work again. It's an oem adapter too. When I skip tracks it dnt lag at all.

Is anybody using the audiovox media bridge? I want to stream Bluetooth audio and continue using the factory Bluetooth phone option.. I'd like to have the Aux port as a backup option. I'd like the music info to show up on screen but it's not a necessity. I have ML with Nav

Hey guys. It seems like everyone likes this unit. Is there any reason to consider the comprable vaistech unit? The vaistech is about twice the price and doesn't come with an aux cord, right?

I've been using the GTA kit for about 4 months now. The kit does have some ground loop noise. I emailed them asking about it and they told me it was a problem with the unit and not the phone. They offered me a refund if I returned it, but it doesnt bother me enough to return it. You can only hear it when there is silence, music drowns it out. This only happens with the iphone cable while its charging, not with the 3.5mm jack.

I'm using the BT35. I keep my factory car audio Bluetooth for calls and stream Bluetooth to stereo for music. Song names don't show up though. I'm hoping the new 4.3 android update will fix that (it lists: •Bluetooth AVRCP 1.3 support - display song names on a car stereo. "

How's the audio quality? Does it have 3.5mm Aux audio for non Bluetooth? Can I just buy a ML radio from a 08-10 3GS and be done with it?

Audio Quality is Decent. You lose some 'oomph' and low end sounds (bass and a bit of midrange), so you may have to adjust tone control in your car or on your device.

I don't have a 3.5mm audio jack. If that need arises, I have the trusty ole tape deck adapter as backup. That doesn't sound bad either I would have to say. A sliver better than the BT, but the Bluetooth is so much more convenient.

In terms of Audio Quality, on my ML stereo, it is: DVD-Audio > CD's > probably 3.5mm jack > Tape deck Adapter (probably tied with 3.5mm jack) > BT Streaming.

Again, very subtle differences, and you can probably tweak BT streaming to sound better....

I'm going to have to say

DVD-Audio > 3.5mm jack > CDs > BT Streaming. >Tape deck Adapter
