As far as I know, you have to go through the button sequence to get the chime disabled. Which is what I did on my 08 GS.

Wow just found this thread. I'm interested, but this this worknwithnthe Mac book pro? And can we re program old tpms that came off of another car (Hyundai) to my 08 GS350???

I hope they make it similar to this device we been talking about in this thread.... change settings in the car. Plug into the same port.
