I had the break squealing for years now. I was so sick of the noise I just took it to Goodyear and they put on new front rotors and brake pads. No more squeal and I spent less than $500 on parts and labor... It took me 2 years to finally get rid of that annoying noise !
It has been over a month now and absolutely no noise...

when brakes typically squeal before you need to change them it's normally cause they are glazed over. Causes of glazing are due to a number of reasons. The most common is when it is cold outside or when it rains. Brake dust (from using your brakes) stick to your pads and rotors when it's cold or wet outside and create a thin film over your brakes. That causes a squeal noise. Another cause is riding your brakes. Typically an easy fix, just resurface your rotors and grind your pads should go away. I heard the lexus pads and rotors are pretty bad about squealing. Matter of fact mine are right now.

I think I know what your talking about but it only happens to me right after I wash my car when the brakes are actually wet. Hehe

You could try chamfering the corners of the brake pads where they touch the rotor surface, also when the pads were replaced, were the shims fitted to the backs of the new pads? It can cause squeal if there's no shims in place! Also to grease the backs of the shims nicely with copper grease or proper brake pad fitment grease(does the same job) will also help to eliminate the noises!
A seized caliper could also be a cause, especially from the rears on the 3gs range being notorious for the slider pins rusting and sticking/seized!

Grrrr I know what are you talking about. I used to own 07 GS350(sold) and it had the same problem.
The car has been to dealer but they were not able to find out until I sold it. Even this service guy wrote a letter to their headquarter but still had no luck. The sound came from the front(I forgot which side) so I replaced the rotors and the pads but again..
