Yes, MB E350 already have standard LED headlight, I just compared w/ a friend's brand new BMW 650i as well, his LED headlight is brighter than HID...... and look at this from MB website..... well actually you know what, not only these cars have LED headlight, even the new corolla S have LED headlight....

Pretty neat! I didn't know that! I'm sure it's the refraction of these LEDs to the backlighting combined with the higher power LED/heatsinks that give it the ability to match HIDs for lighting.... Never knew they've gotten this far with LEDs, in a few years, like computers, we'll probably be able to replace HIDs altogether with LEDs.

Here's the picture of VLEDS 2000 lumen kit for DRL, as well as FOG light, it looks alot brighter in person, I'll try to take more picture at night later

I would go with HID in the fogs personally. LEDs are usually more for looks rather than output when it comes to major illuminating functions.
Also regarding the LED headlights in new cars nowadays, those systems are much different than just a plug'n play LED bulb.
Overall it looks good, but I'd rather have the function.

Thanks audis886, I did the exact same thing as you. I ordered the 50W CREE LED 9006 bulb for my fog lights, but they turned out too blue (6000k) for my liking and therefore don't match the OEM HID. Now I just ordered vLEDS last pair of 9006 HB4 5K CXA 1800LM.
My understanding is that the 1800LM was their first generation products and hence it was on discount of $90 vs MSRP of $120. Whereas the 2000LM version is supposedly the second generation product (i.e. improved brightness, better cooling ,etc.) And reading other car forums, rumour has it that VLED is working a new set of LEDs that will push out even more light. No ETA provided. Maybe this is more closer to what the Mercedes and Toyota are doing for their headlights. We will have to wait and see.

well you know what, i kinda regret getting it since i found out the 2000 LM VLEDs CXA is running at 26 watts, while this 1 set from JLClighting is running at 55 watts....., I wonder if that 1 is brighter....

haha, me too, the 50W CREE LED is too blue for my liking, so i went to return it, and ordered 2 Sets of VLEDS, 9005 & 9006 both of them at 2000LM, i've ordered when they have the NYE sale.

The link to the JLClight bulb, I've also seen in other forums. The issue I am starting to see with these super bright LEDs is that they are relying on bigger and bigger heat sink and/or fans, which means higher rate of failure if the heat sink and/or fan craps out. Once manufacturer's add complexity to the LED setup to increase brightness, we'll loose reliability and longevity of these types of bulbs.
Also, you can clearly see from the photos the light kelvin is more towards 6000K. In addition JLClight does not provide a lumen output, they provide other measurements of power but not light output. Then it really comes down to who takes better pictures and post them on the selling page.
I personally buy LEDs from vLEDs for two reasons: 1) they advertise other kelvin ratings besides 6000K or higher that makes most cars look ricey (IMHO) so by offering 5000k gets my money, 2) vLEDs usually have lumen ratings provided in their products to really compare bulb brightness (their brightness ratings of 1 to 5 is good reference but not exact).

I got the 7.5w high power from ijdmtoy http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Plasma-High...t15_sku326.htm
I think I've seen your car few times in Socal!
