Jerk/jolt/clunk when coming to a stop

+1....i still have my Legend and experienced the same thing along with vibrations...it was the motor mounts...I would start with an inspection of those as well...

My 06 gs430 currently developed the down shift clunk. Same issues. Don't think it has anything with the mounts. While I was coasting around 20 miles I put the gear in neutral and braked, There was no clunk. Only happens when I'm in gear to coming to a stop. It up shifts fine thru all the gears. The mileage on my gs is 145k miles. I Drained and filled the fluid about a few times. I didn't do a flush.
There are two clunks that happens. While I'm coming to a stop, a small noticeable clunk and followed by a slightly bigger clunk. What could it be? Some people are saying that it could be some solenoid or the ecu? Which ecu? Engine or trans?

I also noticed a 4th to 5th gear delay and slightly rough up shift. What the hell is going on?
I thought these engines and trans suppose to be "bullet proof" if u maintain them. Wtf!
Another thing is, does anybody know if there would be a stored codes without showing any " check engine" light? With these issues on my car, there no check engine lights that are on. Kinda wish a fault light would show so u could get it checked out to see which sensor or solenoid.

I replace my transmission because Lexus told me it was bad and still I have the same issue...so I'm happy that you replace the ecu and it works. Where did you get the ecu from, how much it's gonna cost and does it need to be reprogram?

They have to take responsibility for that. If they can't help you, then you would need to find out your ecu part number. You would have to get the exact part number to marry it to the car.
Pm me if you need some advice.
