Galaxy S4 audio adapter (that also charges) suggestions? 2006 GS300 RWD
Have standard stereo w/o nav. Looking for good, reliable wired micro USB adapter for playing audio while charging phone. Control of phone by steering wheel buttons would be a huge plus! Looking to spend around $100. Suggestions? I've seen brands like vais, grom and isimple, but not sure which is good, nor which model fits my needs. Thanks

For $100 I would suggest a $35 charging cable with plug and a $20 tape deck adapter, homeslice...

Yes. I'd do it myself. Just installed a USA-spec iPod interface in a g35. It was around $100. I already use the tape adapter. I want something better (1 cable solution like iPod interface) with steering wheel control of the S4's android music player + charging function. I know very little about the units that are marketed for android use vs iPod/iPhone.

imo, get a regular car charger and buy an expensive bluetooth stereo headset. On the go anywhere and everywhere.. maybe except the swimming pool and beach and rain and alike.

I don't have one installed but I have a 06 GS300 and researched this before.

I'm talking about something like this http://reviews.cnet.com/headsets/lg-...-34532029.html
but while you driving you should listen to only one side cause this thing can isolate the sound pretty good.

I don't have this installed so I can't promise you anything but this is the route I was going to take with my Samsung Note 2. At the end of the day it wasn't worth 250 to me because I have Sirius in my car. Give the company a call I'm sure they can provide more information than me since I've never used this product.

Wireless is the only way I know to avoid this feedback.
goodluck.

I have an el cheapo passive power+audio, 3.5mm-miniplug to 30-pin cable that gives me noise connected to iPhone. I only spent like $2-3 in it, so no surprise. U were getting feedback using an actual interface device like we r discussing? Must b really really poor design. The USA-spec iPod interface I just installed in my bud's g35 has no noise. It charges while transferring audio via a single cable, but I need S4/andriod version.
I've noted the MML interface. What's the next best at closer to my budget? What r the good brands that support charging+audio on S4? Never heard of any of them besides PIE. The USA-spec was a gamble that seems to have paid off.
