Default 2007 GS350 Nav location issues. (just installed Vais IVIC)

Just installed the Vaistech iVic unit yesterday and everything seemed to function fine, but noticed once I started driving today that my Navigation unit was off. It still operated and tracked movement ok, only the maps were about 10 minutes away from where I was actually located.

I've turned off the car several times since, and also took out the Nav disc and re-installed but it keeps putting me in the same wrong place,

This all happens in the normal standard Lexus modes.

Any troubleshooting ideas?

You installed the Vaistech iVic right? Did you follow someone's tutorial here on cutting wires and etc? Because that may be what screwed up your nav system.

Guess it was just some kind of interference. I ended up unplugging the HDMI and USB cords from the IVIC (which was installed in the glove box) and it fixed itself. I haven't been able to recreate the problem (not that I'm complaining) but still wondering what happened. All seems fine enough now though.

It sounds like it wasn't getting the speed signal wire data.

I also have an 07 GS350 and have been looking for a place to mount the unit. Can you explain to me where and how you mounted yours?
