I was battling an icy drive way so I had the vsc off to do what I want. Tires spun here and there and I finally got in. Not the first time this was done this week. But what I noticed was check vgrs and vsc came on.
I went home to drop off my kid and returned 15 minutes later. Started the car and the lights where off. Went for a short drive to confirm everything was fine and it was .
Any clues?

I gave it a day or two to see if anyone had any input on this. Since no one answered? MY ONLY GUESS, is when your tires were slipping, your car went sideways, and the VGRS system didn't know how to compensate, hence why it went off. VGRS is the system for our electronic steering systems.

If it doesn't pop up during the summer you should be fine I'd say![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, did you disengage the VSC using the pedal dance? I remember that DOES activate the check VSC and check VGRS, so that might be what you're talking about.
