Sync Android (Galaxy S4) with Lexus GS350
Ok, so I just purchased my first Lexus (2008 GS 350 - 46K miles) and I'm having issues syncing my contacts with the car. The phone syncs. What am I doing wrong, is there some function on the phone I don't know about?? I've also read there might be issues with the Galaxy S4, is this true, if so, how can I get it to work?? Short of buying a new phone!!

Go to the contacts screen on the phone, click the options button and choose "send contacts via" or "import export". It will ask you how you want to send the contacts. Choose Bluetooth., then it will have you choose the device you want to send the contacts to. Choose your GS, but make sure the navigation is on the screen where it is waiting for the phone to send your contacts when you do it.

2GSKaizen, thanks for the reply. I went to my GS4 contacts screen, I clicked on the menu button at the bottom left of the phone, the menu that popped up didn't have an options button, but did have the import/export button. I clicked on it, but the only options inside were to import or export from USB storage...
Playing around with the menu button while in contacts, I noticed a button called "Share namecard via." I clicked on this and selected my contacts, then clicked done, the next screen came up with options to share the name cards, one of them was Bluetooth. I'm guessing this is what you were going for correct?? I recently updated my OS from AT&T, so it may be different from yours. Does this sound like I'm on the right track??
I'm guessing it is, thanks for the push in the right direction!!! :-)

FYI - After opening the phone book from the touch screen in my car, I selected the group and then clicked import/sync, then I went to the phone and followed the steps outlined in my other post and presto, it works!! I'll post the steps below to make it easy.. Thanks for the help!!!
(Open contacts, press menu button on lower left of phone, then select "Share Namecard Via" and then choose the Bluetooth option. Once you click Bluetooth, there will be a list of devices you are paired with, in this case just the one, my car, select it. As soon as you do that, the sync starts and you'll get a download arrow/icon up in the top left of the phone... Took quite a while since I had a ton of contacts...)

Me too XxGoKoxX!!! Don't need tickets for being on the phone... Which is funny to me, since on my way to work I see all kinds of girls putting their make-up while driving, seems to be a whole lot more distracting if you ask me!! Haha...

I'm sure there has to be a way to sync your contact with the iPhone.. I have one of them as well, I'll try to sync it and report back... Maybe between the two of us and everyone else on here, we can figure it out...

Haha... I can't stand Apple either!! I love how they come out with the next best thing - that Android came out with 6 months prior!! Haha...
About the only thing Apple is good for is marketing, they've convinced the naive that they don't amount to anything if they don't have an iPhone or MacBook!!!
