Whatever number is shown is the highest gear the transmission will shift to without you you pushing the shifter forward...so if it shows a 4 it will shift on its own up to 4th gear but holding each gear longer depending on throttle input...
I think i know what you mean by throttle input. When I am in any gear say 3rd... and im pressing on the pedal in a smooth like motion towards halfway it decides to jump to 2nd gear... and from 3000rpm it jumps to around 4000rpm? I'm not entirely sure if thats how its programmed or my car is messed up
