these interior buttons light(sunroof open, close, up down and spot, on, off, spot)are not lighting up at nite when i turn on the head lights
are they supposed to be off or something that dealer can customize it to be on/off option such as DRL lights.
can anyone chime in?

The big squares are independent for when you hit the button. The two circled lights towards the windshield are for when your doors open and close. The 3rd light (by itself) should be the light that glows at night when you turn on headlights.

I would check your fuses, just in case one blew. GL!

If your referring to the buttons with actual words on them then I regret to inform you that they do not light up.

Ohhh, I see what you're talking about now.... lol sorry about the misunderstanding. Mine's doesn't light up. You can probably rig together a LED mod to it though, you'll receive the voltage source from that middle dome light that shines really dim at night.

If you DO do it, post it up and let us know!

No empty sockets I assure you, it's just a button, but you can put up a micro-LED in there and it should be okay.

Glow in the dark paint should be a no-go though, because it's yellow during the day so your buttons will look pretty ugly lol. Unless I've been out of the loop with some new stuff ofc. I used glow in the dark paint for my sights on my XDS-9mm.

Does anyone know if they're transparent? because that would be the most important part to let the LED shine through.... the whole LED thing sounds nice tho but i have no expertise in electrician.... So I'm scared to touch these sort of things....
About that XDS.... you mean the tip is painted? Or you use paint *****
