zex kit
Hey guys, I'm installing a zex kit on the gs430, everything is ran, but there's 3 wires, black, white and red. I already hooked up the black as ground, red to my switch then to a power source, the white wire goes to the tps but which wire do I use? I believe it should be the out voltage lead, but what color is the wire? thanks for the help.

Not a lot of us are running nitrous, maybe 2-3 members whom I don't think I've seen in a while.
Besides this, I'd like to give you a heads-up warning about your ventures with the zex kit.
The connecting rods on the 3uz-fe (your gs430) have very weak connecting rods, and if you push it a little too hard you're gonna end up snapping them and needing a new engine.
There isn't much info on where to tap the white wire, but I believe it's the voltage lead out. I'd try zex forums, or directly calling them to make sure though.

I have ran nitrous before on the 1uz with a 100 shot with no issues, but I had a multi meter to check which wire is which at the time. That said the same thing about the ge motor with weak rods, I still netted 400+ whp with no issues, I should be around 350 ish whp on the 3uz motor with the shot I'm running. I'm sure these motors are strong enough to handle that.

Fyi, I ended up getting a meter and probed the wires, since there's no info on the install for the 3uz motors. there's 3 wires on the zex kit, red wire run to an arming switch then to a power source, black wire is a ground, white wire goes to the drive by wire unit on the throttle body, its the last wire down(red/blue). This wire is the output voltage, to double check yourself with a meter, you should see a voltage jump to 5v when wot. Also unlike the 1uz that has a vavle on the fuel rail, the 3uz you will have to tap into the fuel rail, there's a nut on the front of each rail to access the fuel source for the zex unit. follow the instructions on setting up the unit, after that with the car on without starting the engine, arm your switch then gas pedal to wot, you should hear the unit or solenoid click for activation, that's when you know everything is working correctly. If you have not ran spray before, its ok to take baby steps with a 55 shot til you feel good about adding bigger jets, it looks like some sc430 owners are running 120 Shots. I'm only running a 100 ish shot and should be pretty safe on these motors.

Looks great OP, and the engine bay looks very clean lol, you don't notice unless you're under close inspection of the zex lines.
I've given up on trying to make things look OEM as possible. My engine bay's full of 1/0 gauged wires lol!
