lug nut key keeps breaking?
I've gone through about 3 keys already, with the inside shape breaking and going out of shape or the bolt detaches from the surrounding which makes it impossible to use after anybody know if I can trade it with lexus for new ones?

Hmm... I dont have a torque wrench i've been using a power wrench and the lug nut wrench the car comes with... What is the amount of torque i should be using? My friend has after market lug nuts and a key for them he uses a torque wrench and the key still stripped

When mine broke along with one of the locks I just tossed them all and replaced with regular nuts. Nobody steals wheels any more and if they do lucking nuts don't do anything to stop them or even slow them down anyway.

Ugh I have two same threads going how do i delete one? I am tightening them mostly by the wrench that is given in the car.... either that or a power wrench drill.... I can agree with you IXI187IXI... but I wouldnt think metal would have that much of a deformation in a bit of climate change... It's been cold around here ever since i was doing work on the car 40-60F.... Does anyone know if Lexus will trade in the key lug nuts?

Ditch the locking lugnuts before you have to deal with this:
And get a torque wrench, even a cheap beam-style is plenty accurate for most people. You should really re-torque each time you loosen lugnuts, after driving on it. I've found plenty of lugnuts loose after doing repairs, torqueing, and driving a bit.
