2008 Stock Wheels Refinished - Need Advice
So I had my stock wheels refinished (sand blasted and re-painted). The shop I used did a great job but I feel like the hypersilver color is a bit too dark. What do you guys think? Should it match more closely with the center caps? The shop suggested adding some alumina to brighten it up a bit. Do you guys think that'll match more closely to what I think they're supposed to look like (3rd and 4th pic of GS from Web)?
Please note, the photo was taken when it was cloudy out however even on a clear morning, it still seemed like it was a tad darker than what I think the factory rims are supposed to look like.

Thank you all for the feedback. Not sure if they could pop the emblems off and spray those too but I too think the wheels are a tad too dark. I'd rather they match more closely to the caps.
Shop charged $160/wheel since they hd to send them off to be sand blasted. The paint job that was done to the wheels before I bought the car (used, back in 2010) was apparently done extremely poorly.

now that i finally go to the point of having them refinished, i was expecting the restoration to look just like your stock wheels. not sure what guide the shop is looking at to end up being so dark.

I personally like the slightly darker grey...but yes..would want the caps to match. I have 09' wheels in chrome and they are structurally in great shape (no curb rash whatsoever) but the inner side of the rims are starting to develop small areas (about the size of pencil eraser) that are peeling/flaking off. I am looking to having them redone but the cost is nearly as much as a whole new wheel. I've always like the G-Spider wheel...may go with those and keep a factory look.

Thanks gr8fulRed - they did a great job getting it to the right shade. And yes, the official color is called Hyper Silver. But, according to the painter, he said there's actually many different shades of Hyper Silver. Some are darker like what they originally sprayed and some are so light they're almost silver.
