When I turn on my car I get a horrible mildew smell from my AC
It's garaged every night.
Any suggestions?
Has anyone else had this problem?

You have a few choices...
1. Use a disinfectant evaporator coil cleaner or Toyota evaporator cleaner.
2. Make sure you start leaving the mode in fresh air and raising the temperature when you get close to the house.
3. Turn the compressor off when you pull in the garage and let the air from the fan help dry the evaporator coil.
4. Just deal with it...seems to be an issue with this car.
The problem is that you are parking the car with a damp and dark evaporator box...with that comes that musty smell.

Gotcha's right, what I do is keep it on "fresh" so that the box airs out.
Change your cabin air filter and see if that changes anything. That's usually what works with the wife's Camry.
FWIW: I don't have that problem, I turn off the AC when I get near the house and leave the air on high to air out condensation.

this question been asked lots of times
check if your car drops water on the ground when the aircon is running.
If there is no water dripping out from underneath the aircon drain plug could be blocked.
Also damp carpets/front mats
Theres details videos and instructins.

Theres a pencil sized drain plug under the car that blocks up with crud.
But i did have my car aircon disinfected and cleaned with something at lexus, my car used to smell like the back end of a cow, like actual farm animals.
Now no smell at all.
Follow the prev comments and check if you can see dripping water, if so just get an aircon clean its good for any car after 5-6 years anyway.

you need to air out your ducts before turning off the car.
About a mile before you turn off the car, run the fan full blast with a/c mode off.
Next cheapest thing is to clean/replace/sanitize cabin filter.
