06 gs300 timing chain waterpump question.
At what mileage or what does it sound like when you should have your timing chain serviced or replaced?
Also with the water pump is that to be done as on most cars about 80-110k?
(don't feel like walking out to my car to check the manual)
Thanks

There isn't an interval for changing a timing chain or water pump...unless you have a leak or noise.
Now it's normal and practical to change the water pump when you replace a timing belt along with a few other items...and belts should be change around 7yrs/100k...

So since it's a chain just leave it. But does that means it has no timing belt just like aux drive belts?
So im over 100k should I change belts and waterpump?
Ill look at the belts for cracks in the daytime.

water pumps usually get changed when timing belt is replaced. This is not because the water pump actually having a replacement interval, but rather because the labor to get to the timing belt is so expensive and is the same as what is needed for water pump. So for additional parts cost, you just get it over with "just in case"
On a car with timing chain, you should replace the water pump once(if) it actually develops a problem..ie leaking. Otherwise don't prod in there, it defeats the purpose of the chain reducing the service requirement.
Drive/accessory belts are pretty easy to see/get at, and make very obvious whining noises when it is time to replace them. The accessory belts have grooves in a different direction, (cracks are meaningless since the notches run the length of the belt, not across) and their wear generally poses no danger to cause permanent engine damage the way a broken timing belt would.
Basically, sounds like you want to spend money/work unnecessarily.
