2007 gs 350 Good buy?
I am looking to buy a 2007 Lexus gs 350 AWD. It currently has 59,000 miles and the carfax is clean. The 60,000 mile maintenance service will be performed before I buy it but was wondering if $17,600 is a good price. I have no experience with Lexus and am wondering if the vehicle will be reliable and if $17,600 is a reasonable price. Any advice would be great!

here is a link to NADA values....but you may need to adjust "trim level"/options (ML stereo, Nav, etc) and use your local zip code to get more accurate values.

Thanks for the link. I'm hoping to get it out on the highway and test drive it tomorrow. Is there any common problems with this year, make, and model that I should look out for?

I would replace water pump and flush the cooling system, 2007 are great with no known issues. But its AWD if you wanted to lower it, you will get vibrations.
Also in 2008 they updated the 3GS with a slightly newer front and new electronics.

have an 2007 GS 350 AWD check to see if the fresh air mode works! if it ticks in fresh air mode then the door to the cabin filter is broken!!! also the rear calipers are known to seize so if the pedal goes to the floor then they're most likely seized... Dunt know any other symptons other than that... The will naturally vibrate regardless i think... well mine does but take the vibrating with a grain a salt since my car hasn't been looked after that well...
I'm not sure what else to tell you but inspect the tires, rims, rotors (see if they're warped) run your nail on it if it isnt smooth then theyre warped... look for scratches and dents on the body.... Most likely there will be swirl scratches from car washes....
If you point it out these things you could probably hassle him for less

Check all the panels for the VIN sticker to see if they're original or if it's been in a wreck. Doors, hood, and trunk are easy to check. The front fenders require you to move the trim and/or the hood seals to look.

That's the major changes.

Thanks for the advice. I purchased the 2007 Lexus gs 350 AWD with 59,000 miles this past weekend. I am still breaking it in and have not been disappointed. The acceleration is much better than the Infiniti G37x I test drove. It is also much smoother. I am happy to say that I am much pleased thus far that I went with the Lexus. Thanks again for all the advice!
