Cannot Find Used GS 460
Hi. I've been looking online for a used GS 460, 2010 or 2011 .. and I only found three available ones! What is the matter? Anyone know a specific place or even willing to sell theirs?

only 44 were made! Those who own them are extremely lucky. I only can buy 2010 or 2011 since I'm going export it abroad and we have a rule that vehicles that are 6+ years old cannot get in. Anyways, I found three 460's, and one of them is 64k miles, 1-owner, and clean body and engine. How much should I pay for it? He's asking for 23k. is it fair?

AutoTrader - 2010+ Lexus GS 460 - Entire US
I watched the market for this specific car from between August of 2014 and February 2015, when I bought mine. There were never more than 5 for sale at any one time. The best one I ever saw was ~29K miles for $29K, I waited too long and missed that one. For some strange reason, most of these cars that went up for sale were in Georgia. I had to fly to Augusta GA from Denver to buy mine, and drive it back.
That silver one at Doug's Lynwood Mazda has been for sale almost the entire time, I've watched them drop the price about ~$5-6K over almost an entire year without it selling.
Based on the production numbers, there are probably less than 100 of these cars (2010+) in the US. So they are extremely rare. If you are picky about a specific exterior/interior color combination -- I wanted blue exterior, black interior -- you will probably never find it. From what I can tell, the only real option was whether or not they had radar cruise control installed. The vast majority of them didn't.
If you are price conscious -- if you're exporting this car, I don't imagine you are -- then the more of these cars that are for sale nationally, the better. I personally wouldn't buy any one of the three for sale right now.
Good luck! Be prepared to wait for a "good enough" car.

I wanted one but they are almost non existent in my area along with the GS430. Blame the GS350 for being the practical choice for nearly all and best seller for Lexus. I ended up with GS350 at the end and I am very happy with it. I do miss that smooth V8 power deliver and sound. I've owned two Ls430s a GS400 & GS430.
The GS350 was the best overall choice for me. No timing belt to deal with and updated Navigation vs the GS430. Identical power to the GS430 & slightly slower than the GS460. Better gas mileage than both and no expensive electronic suspension to deal with. Optional AWD for harsh weather which drives as smooth as RWD.

In 2010, from what I have read, there were 43 sold here in the states. I ordered mine from Kendall Lexus in Oregon, as my local dealer in Scottsdale, AZ didn't want to discount it very much. And that was after buying 7 new Lexus from the same salesman.
When I ordered mine, there were only silver/black or black/black around the country. Did not want black in AZ, so ordered Matador Red Mica with Parchment interior, with all options except active suspension.
It's time for a GS-F or new generation LS, but I don't think the LS will change until MY 2017. The discount on a GS-F will probably be nil, as demand may exceed allocation. Only a few more months and we'll know.

Super rare cars for the year...like everyone has mentioned. Similar to my 2006 GS430. I want something new but the 350 ruined the whole game. Although every time I roll next to a 350 I let them know who's boss when I rev that V8

Funny, I was just thinking of asking this very same question! I've been contemplating a GS as the replacement to my BMW 3 when my lease is up and was confused as to why I could only find one single used 2010+ GS460 for sale in the county.

And don't like the navi:
This is why the 2010+ GS460 is the perfect car. Stylish but not flamboyant, and the navi is a touch-screen with streaming bluetooth and voice address entry. The software on the old system isn't as slick as the new one, where you can just say an entire address outright, but you can do voice address entry.
As soon as they get away from this goofy grill I'll consider the next V8 GS they make after that (missed my chance to order one last time), but buying the GS-F over the GS460 just seems like buying new for new's sake. The old car had enough power and enough sport feel without having to deal with the new interior and that awful grill.
