when exactly should you be hearing buzzing coming from the actuator? I hear it about every second or third time i step on the brakes, even lightly. I also hear it on startup.

That's a sign it's going to give up soon or later, mines was buzzing for 2 years, then it gave up.

Has anyone confirmed that the part number shown above from a GS450h is interchanble with a GS460? Any idea how long these ABS pumps typically last?

According to "Mitchell Ultramate" the part number for the ABS Pump in a GS460 and 2013 GS450H is the same. Ultramate does not show the part number on an RX450h.

I had my ABS pump replaced twice on my 460.
Once under warranty, and the second time I got one off ebay for 500 bucks used with 6 months warranty on it, it worked fine for many miles to come.

Mine was so bad that it started leaking heavily and I had zero brake pressure.
There was a non stop chime and the car wouldn't brake.

44510-30300 is the actuator that i replaced in my car,it came off of a GS 450 in sweden and its been 7 months now amd its working excellent.
Looks like this part number is in lexus in europe only.
The lexus dealership here in the us does not recognize this part number and told me that they do not show this part number in their database.
But its 44510-30300.which is available on ebay.
and the company selling it is in Poland.

I replaced my ‘06 GS430 with a junkyard Lexus GS450h and it works fine. I don’t remember the year on the GS450h but it was maybe 2010. Anyway this was about 3-4 years ago and it is still working today.

currently I have 252k miles on my car!

MSRP for the new corrected part new is $2600, online wholesale about $1900 and cannot find any used.

Used is alot cheaper, depends on cost, value and long term reliability.
