Default 07 GS350 Suspension questions Front Caster bushing

I had my 2007 GS350 in for service the other day and the dealership told me that both of the front caster bushings were cracked and they recommended replacing the caster brackets and bushings.

They wanted close to $1k to do this so i told them not to do it. i figured i would make a quick project of it and then have them do an alignment, problem is i cannot find anywhere that sells the front caster arm and caster bushing. I find ones for the back and up front I find just the upper and lower control arms.

Is there another name for this part?

I think there talking about the lower rear control arm bushing. 1K to replace them seems like a lot for 1 pair of bushings.

They speciffically said the front caster bushings and suggested replacing the front caster brackets and bushings in their action plan they gave me while it was in for service. Maybe they meant the rear, but they wrote front several times.

Do you have a breakdown of the quote? $1k sound ridiculously high. Im going to guess that part is about $250 per side. As a tech, I'd charge an hour labor. Its only 2 bolts and a nut and that's it... You don't really need an alignment for a caster bushing since its non adjustable, but I usually recommend one anytime a suspension component is replaced.
