Default My GS300 got smacked by UHaul truck

Today my GS300 was smacked by a UHaul Box truck backing out of a parking lot. What do you guys think the repair cost will be? Or will it be totalled?

Notes: Aside from the door, fender and bumper damage, There is Suspension damage and the lower right A pillar is slightly bent.

I have full coverage with Geico and luckily the UHaul truck had full coverage put on it also.

So sorry to see this happed to you. Assuming no one was hurt.

It does look extensive, but they can perform amazing repairs these days. Avoid a mobile app when filing an insurance claim if possible. They under-estimate everything on purpose. I hope you get it resolved soon.

Thanks everyone is fine....If I make a claim with Geico I will have to pay a $500 deductible, if I go with the company UHaul uses they Cover up too $1,000,000 based on the insurance used on that particular truck. I just dont want to get shafted by the insurance companies and get nickel and dimed.

It's not your fault you don't pay the deductible. The other party's insurance pay your deductible.

Sorry to see this. IMO, they might total this if damage is found around the front wheel area where it was hit and a bumper, fender and door is not cheap

Update*

Damage/Repair estimate came out to $4,850. This car is currently valued in the $9-9.5k range, do you guys think it will be totalled by the insurance?

The damages over car value ratio is: $4850/$9000 = 54%

I've read that this ratio has to be over 80% in Florida to be totaled.

Whats the average time an insurance takes to decide wether they will fix or total a vehicle? Its been over 2 weeks and I haven't gotten a response on their final decision.
