Default Brake malfunction' Vsc, awd, abs light all on!

Was cruising down the highway and the Xmas lights all went up. No check engine light though.
My brake lights still work and I can still shift out of park so I don't think it's the brake light switch. Any suggestions? Would a obd2 scanner give me any useful codes for this problem?
Thanks

check the abs sensors on all 4 corners, it may have been hit or cut. or simply an ABS sensor could've gone bad.

I checked the codes through the paper clip trick and got 38 and 39 from the abs light pulses... Can anyone please explain what that means?

Thanks for the advice so far. I will check those out as well.

It seems like to me poor electrical connect. Battery dead or not charged, bad connection, alternator not charging.

When you have several codes pop up at once is a good indicator the ecu isnt getting fully powered and so therefore not able gauge all the sensors.

Try disconnecting the battery, and test the battery at most auto parts stores.

+1 on this with Ibidu1. I had the same issue about a year back, come to find out i had a bad battery. Changed the battery and all was fine. I say disconnect your battery and bring it to autozone and they can check it out for you. If your battery is not at risk for you to break down in the middle of the road, i say drive it there and they can check both your battery and alternator.

The battery and alternator turns out to be still good. Anyone know how to troubleshoot an abs sensor? Apparently code points to speed sensors of both rear wheels.... Not sure why both Fail at the same time.

could be a damaged wheel speed sensor. i damaged mine once and i got those same lights. its a simple check, (1) 10mm bolt on the back side of the rotor that holds the sensor in

It looks fine... Wiring and everything. How do I test it with multimeter to ensure its still within spec? I'm thinking this should be my next step?

Also, do I have to remove the back seat to get to the harness?

Don't try to chase random things. Check to see what the code is first.

The code is a 39 abs rear left sensor...I removed, cleaned and installed it. Now the code is gone but the car activates the abs at very low speeds (upon coming to a full stop). Anyone experience such symptons? I'm in rusty canada and I think the rust could be somehow effecting the reluctor/tone rings on the axles. I tried to inspect it but it seems near to impossible without first removing the entire brake assembly!

Updat, just replaced the left rear sensor. Now there are no codes except whenever I go on the freeway, a c1296 check awd light comes on. Abs still comes on at low speeds when about to stop. No abs codes though. I've searched and searched and it seems no body has this problem?
