Another member had the same symptoms as you are having. It was a bad fuel pump sensor located under the throttle body

Its at the back of the engine on passenger side by the firewall. if you don't have the special tool you will most likely have to remove the intake manifold to gain better access to replace

It's behind the top back of the engine, under the throttle body. It's about the size of a sparkplug and unscrews from the high pressure fuel assembly in the back of the motor. I forget the wrench size to remove it but you will need small hands and a shortie wrench. The recal is just for a leak and they will not replace the sensor just remove replace gasket and put it back on.
If your cooling fans just run and your engine won't crank I would say is the sensor. You can haggle and buy the part from lexis for $300 and just pay a Mobil mechanic to change it where it broke down, would be the cheapest way. Then take to dealer if recall needed to make sure it's tight. Or tow it to lexus if it needs the recal and see if they can just charge you fo r the part (fuel pressure sensor).

You don't have to remove the intake manifold, but it would give you more room. I unbolted the throttle body and swung it out of the way. Y ou will need a good flashlight and run your hand down under where the throttle body was. 5he sensor is about the size of a big sparkplug with a pigtail of wire attaching from the back, the threaded part faces forward and screws in the high pressure fuel assembly, not the fuel rail. I has a connector and pigtail you can cut the pigtail wires to make removal easier. You can find a picture online if you google the part number or gs350 fuel pressure sensor.
You can probably reach the connector without removing the throttle body to unplug and plug it in again. Worth a try
