Default Tire size helppppp!!!!!!

Hey guys. Wondering if someone could really help me out. I have a 2008 GS AWD. I have the 20mm RCA blocks in the front. The wheels I have are 20x8.5 +35 and 20x9.5 +35. The tires I currently have are 225-35-20 in the front and 255-30-20 in the rear.
I was previously told these were the correct tire size I needed so I ordered them online. The tires have a stretched look and the edge of the wheel is sticking out. I figured I'd just roll with it and get new tires next year. (Which is now) what tire size should I go with so that the tires are flush with the wheel and the wheel isn't sticking out? Here are some pics of what I'm referring to. I want a factory look.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hanks for the reply. What's the offset and size of your wheels? Any rubbing?

Im not sure of the offset but I do rub in the front. Most of my rubbing came from the brand of tires (Conti DWS) I used as they are more squared instead of rounded at the edges. Also im slightly lowered in the front with small RCA.
