Wheel paint peeling off!
Exactly what's the title says! It's coming off on all 4 wheels and its OEM original paint. None have this issue or ideas around how to fix them? I can see other areas where the paint has cracked and starting to lift as well. These Lexus wheel paint really suck... My Volvo alloys are 18 years old and still do not have peeling issues like this!!

Unfortunately it's pretty typical on Lexus silver painted rims throughout the years. Specifically in ice salt climates.
I'm from Ontario like you and it's everywhere if you look.
I had a 94 LS and an 02 LS and the painted silver rims peeled on both.
Just bought a GS myself and got a lot off the asking price because I told him directly that I wouldn't take it with the corroded wheels.
As for solutions, you could strip them and have them repainted (not sure what that would cost) or you could replace them.
It sucks but it's typical to me now.

Hmmm I wonder if plasti dipping will hold up in our salty environment. Thoughts? Also I've got some rust underneath the car... Any good recommendations how to treat it? Rust paint?

No idea on the plasti but i'm sure it'll be fine. It'll be a fresh layer and shouldn't react to salt.
Besides, it's plasti. Just do it again next year. lol
All I can think for underbody rust is maybe an oil spray to control its advance but again, pretty typical in a winter salt area.

Honestly, plastidipping would be the route I'd go. The silver and dark grey look really nice in person. A friend of mine did it to his Jeep a while back, and he's only had minor peeling, even with off-roading it. Plus it's only $10 a can, so you can't really go wrong.

Yes. I agree. Plastidip would be the way to go next
