This has 72K miles. Is it ok to buy with this mileage the 2010 year model with the intent of the car being my daily driver? Any known problems

Even though it's a Lexus showroom, I am thinking of getting it reviewed independently by a mechanic. Any suggestions to for a shop or individual who can inspect it?

What are some major services coming down in next 12 months?

Thanks in advance...
Don't ever trust a clean vehicle history report. Many accidents dont get reported. My friend works at a dealership and sometimes they fix cars and never report them. Find a good mechanic that can find signs of repairs/repaint. Then decide if you still want it.

I bought my 3GS from a Lexus showroom too, and it had clean history but I saw signs of repainted front bumper, and rear fenders. I bought it anyway cause personally it didnt bother me.

Yep my newly acquired 2011 has a dash rattle, plus it sounds like something goes clunk when I lift off the gas sometimes. Still sussing them out. I'll probably go after them myself unless the dealer feels generous.

Thanks TS85. Now I need to find a good mechanic as I am very new to NY NJ area.

Interestingly when I visited the show room yesterday, people were quite pushy to buy cars. This was very different when I went with my aunt about 5 years ago when there was no pressure at all by the salesman.

I also saw a CPO with 59k miles for 24000. Drove really well. Need to make a decision by coming week

You can look up recalls by VIN here:

@grayson. No open recalls or service campaigns

Yet to find or come across recommendation for a good Lexus mechanic in nj by area. Holding off until then.

I see carfax itself offers inspection but I don't feel comfortable with a mobile mechanic. Seems too white collar

Default headlights and taillights

how much $ and where for those headlights and tail lights? They look awesome!

Take a look and see if the factory recall was done on the replacement of the VVT-1 timing gear.

My 2010 GS350 AWD has VERY noisy fuel injectors....or that's what the dealer is telling me which I am having trouble believing. Anyone else seem to have supposedly noisy injectors?

Great car otherwise. I get anywhere from 22-26 mpg on mixed driving. Beautifully comfortable car.
Bought mine in Nov-15' for $16,700 with 100k miles from a dealer (Boise, ID).
