Default Best way to play music from phone on 07 GS350?

I just got an 07 GS350 with Nav/ML etc and am now trying to play music from my phone in the car. I don't want to pay too much money ($75+) if I can help it but I also want to take advantage of the ML audio system and find a way to preserve the audio quality with strong bass. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I use the tape deck adapter with a 3.5mm audio jack, it is the cheapest and quickest way to get tunes from your phone to the car.

Yeah, I used to use one in a different car, but I remember it being static-y depending on the angle and not nearly as good sounding as the AUX cord. Maybe I just got a crappy one. Any brands you'd recommend that don't waste the quality of the ML system? I'm seeing decent reviews on the Monster and Sony ones.

Mine is a Duracell branded adapter lol. It was the only one I could find locally. It's pretty reliable most of the time. If you look a few threads down there's more recommendations. I guess I gave you the cheapest least invasive option and not the best one haha
