Plasti dipped my GS460 wheels

I also have a theory that a subset of the people who do these kinds of mods are gay dudes who haven't yet accepted themselves – if you think about it, the car hobby is both a manly activity (thus maintaining their tough and macho self-image), but it's also a great way to meet lots of men. This also explains the bro truck crowd – it's not unusual for the most vociferous homophobes to be gay guys who are really deep in the closet.

Yeah I bet it looks way better in real time. If my wheels weren't new, I'd definitely have done the same but I have to stay stock for now.

You might even want to consider getting the clear plasti dip for the harsh winters you get up there, especially since they're new wheels. Could be worth looking into for a bit of added protection!

Oh I didn't know that clear plasti dip existed. And yes for sure I'm gonna look for it. Thanks for the tip!

After seeing a few plasti dip projects in person, I decided to give it a shot on my GS460's wheels. I did 7 coats of the anthracite gray, and overall, I am very pleased with the outcome. Was hoping they would be a tad bit lighter, but for less than $50, I'm not complaining. Anyways, here are a bunch of pics, one before the whole project. Oh, and ignore the plasti dip remnants on the tires, I removed it all today and didn't get a pic.
