So I haven't been able to open my sunroof for about 2 months now and yesterday I went to roll all of my windows down and boom! The sunroof opened so naturally the first thing that came to mind was, oh ****! Now it might now roll back up. However, it did and now I at least have that pinpointed so with that being said we know that it probably isn't a mechanical issue. We checked the fuse under the hood. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can check without having to take this car into a shop?

My car is a 2008 so it is definitely starting to get to that point where all of the minuscule things that are annoying are starting to break but she still runs like a dream!

You can reset the sunroof by holding the close button for 10-20 seconds. It should open/close and fully reset. I forget which close but its the one closer to the driver side if I recall correctly if not try the other.
