Default Navtool

Curious is anyone here has installed navtool in their GS and has instructions or advice? Not many FIYs and the ones out there are mainly for the SC430. It seems simple enough, but all the wires are a bit intimidating. Thanks in advance. 2006 GS300 without nav btw. I've installed GROM and Viastech before so I have some sort of familiarty, but this is a bit more involved

According the their site, its' plug and play and requires a 12v and ground only that you will have to mess with. Sounds simple enough and it doesn't seem like that much of an issue. I glanced over at the sc430 and it does look a little more involved, however the gs series seem to be simple.

the unit itself came with a wiring harness that looks to have much more to be done than a simple ground and 12v power, but you may be correct. I'll take a look at it again. There was someone who installed a unit in his 2006 GS in about an hour, but that was in 2010 and unfortunately he hasn't logged on since 2013 so no advice there ha

Definitely let me know how it goes because that unit looks interesting. My last thoughts is that it could be an older model seeing its 2017 now and when this unit came out, it was years and years ago; so connectivity could've improved since then thus now being a simple plug and play.

^ I just have to make sure I use the right plug to tap into. As for the model, I have the newest 3.0 so there isn't much out there in terms of installing it, at least for Lexus. I'm going to use a USB for my iPhone and one of the video inputs for a rear view camera

what you can do is get a android box with all the apps ,theses boxes has screen mirroring and usb and micro sd card input

then you need to cut the plug with rgb sync wires and tap in there once you find the plug go from there
