Smile 2005 GS350 bluetooth

Hey guys, i wish to add bluetooth onto my 2005 GS350. the model is 3GS, as it is jap import and the model year starts in 2005. I heard GTA carkit is good and got in touch with them, but they said it is not compatible with 2005. just wondering if anyone is in the same boat *** me, or if it is actually not compatible, if there are any alternative solution too add bluetooth/aux, thanks so much!

If you want straight and simple, get bluetooth cassette.

Or FM transmitter.

Since your car is a Japanese import you will have to do some cross-referencing.

GTA car kit's catalogue will list the 2005 GS as a 2GS, and therefore not compatible with their kit. Since you have a 3GS, you should tell them you have a 2006+ and it should work.

If you talk are talking about audio quality, I'd say they both are nothing extraordinary. It'd definitely get the job done and unless you are an audiophile; honestly may not notice a difference. This is also dependent on whether you get a 10$ adapter or a better quality one. I've used that specific one on an sc300 and can't complain about audio; granted I don't care for mids/highs/bass/treble/etc all these crazy expectations. It plays sound through the speakers, that's all I needed.

As far as what I'd choose between the two, definitely the cassette adapter. From personal experience, the transmitter usually get interference a lot depending on signal, area, other stations, etc..
