Oil Filter Washer DYI Question Gs 460
Hi,
I've recently changing my own oil and I've noticed when i took off the bolt from the bottom of the oil pan, the washer with the rubbery seal is not in a good shape. It will need to be change out prehaps in the next oil change.
My question, is there anywhere that sell the filter with the new oil washer included? I get my filters at local retailers like Auto zone and it doesnt come with it.
Also, what filter are some of CL DIYers running? and at what price?
Thanks!

Just a hint from a long time DIYer, change the washer with every oil change. No need risking a leak for a < $2 washer.
In my opinion, OEM filters are the best way to go. I've seen them online for < $7...not sure of cost at the dealer.

Yeah, I'll be changing it out with every new oil change. I didn't had the washer at that time and it wasn't terrible but I told myself i will change it out the next oil change.

Good price. Thanks for sharing.
It's funny, if I put in 2007 Lexus GS350, Amazon says it does not fit my car. The gasket PN of 90430-12031 is the correct gasket.
