Default Help ID hose in picture.

Hi, Newbie here. I just bought a used 2007 GS350, after reading the threads, I took a look at the water pump and saw a lot of pink fluid. I think the source is the hose, can someone help id the part? Also a bit of plastic broke off, is it important (blue arrow)?

I'm at 107,000 and going to attempt the water pump replacement. What else would you recommend to do?

Welcome to CL, and congrats on the car!

Yeah, definitely looks like it needs a new water pump badly! Here is a diagram of the coolant system, http://www.lexussouthatlantaparts.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_assembly=1175302&ukey_make=1082&ukey_model=15660&modelYear=2007&ukey_category=21746&ukey_driveLine=8073. Looks like the hose you're indicating is 16267 at the bottom left of the diagram

And while you're in there, you may want to also replace the thermostat

And I wouldn't worry about the plastic part if only a little bit broke off
