Default Exhaust

Here she is
Hey guys I'm new to CL I own a 2006 GS300 AWD, I wanted to add an exhaust for a better sound. Can you tell me the cons of adding an exhaust and which one would be the best way to go?

Next time, kindly post in the correct subforum, this is the build thread. It is for folks posting logs about their car builds .

I'm going to move your thread to the correct subforum now.

That's a good looking ride you've got!

If you're talking about a bolt-on exhaust, there really aren't any cons – and if you don't like it for whatever reason, you can always put the stock exhaust back on.

It's hard to say which one is best since that really depends what sort of exhaust note you want. The Tanabe medallion is a popular one on this forum, and I've seen a few others mentioned. Try using the forum search function, there's already a lot of info about the various bolt-on options

How much noise do you want to create? Do you want it to sound aggressive or luxurious? Do you want it to have it have bigger cans(sporty) or more luxurious?

Tanabe Medalion Touring is my favorite. Not too loud with a great exhaust note. F-Sport if you're wanting a more aggressive sound. HKS Hi-Powers for big exhaust tips.

I'm pleased with Invidia for GS350 but if you are looking for aggressive sound it mellow.

If you want aggressive then you should do a full exhaust or get a midpipe in addition to a catback exhaust. I'd recommend f-sport full exhaust, invidia midpipe with tanabe medalion or hks hi-power. There are many more if you search but start there first is my suggestion.

Whatever you do, don't get the Manzo exhaust from ebay... It's absolute trash. Lesson learned.

Not sure if anyone noticed his car was awd. I've been hunting on this forum for weeks trying to find an exhaust for my car. Everything I've found available is for the rwd model. My local junk yards only have crashed rwd. Have any of you guys found anything?

Slight modification to the mid section will make the AWD fit the RWD
