Smile Tires

I recently purchased a 2006 GS430. Starting to plan for new tires. What are some recommendations from your experience as to best all around tire (ride/handling) for the car? I live in Florida so no snow. Many thanks

It's still on the car as we speak.

Ride and handling is hard to come by when it comes to tires if you are looking for both of those qualities in a single tire. For ride, look for touring tires as they give you a nice ride and good wear traction. i.e. the Continental PureContact as suggested above. Another is the Michelin Primacy MXV4 and the Bridgestone Serenity. For handling, go with the Michelin Super Sports, Pirelli Pzero, Continental DWS06.

It's up to you, but I would go for the latter and get a touring tire. I assume your performance would be driving fast, corners, on/off ramps, etc every now and then and these tires should be fine so long as you have enough tread on them. Any other handling and I would get a performance handling tire.

For the best dry and wet grip, you can't beat the Michelin Super Sport or Michelin PS4S – and even better, they even have just about the best treadlife in their catagory

Which do you care about more – handling or comfort?
