Removal of Center Air Vents
Hello all,
I'm interested in replacing my Center Air Vents because the tabs that control movement have fallen off and been lost. I have searched the internet high and low to find out how to do this with no luck. I can purchase a new Center Vent but would really like to know how to remove before i do. Has anyone ever done this?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to CL!
To replace it, you have to remove the nav unit, here's a DIY for that: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...s-edition.html
Once the nav is out, just pop the vent assembly out of the dash and disconnect the cable at the back of the assembly. If you haven't done so already, it's also a good time to put some insulating tape around the nav unit and vent assembly to get rid of some of the rattles (if you have any)

It can be removed, you have to take the center console apart and take the Nav out, there's videos on YouTube for that, I haven't seen anything on how to take out the vent but if you look at the new one you should be able to see the tabs that hold it in and pry those on the old one
