Back door lock gunged up with kids bubblegum
My rear passenger door won't open from the inside. It's not the parent lock override, it's just got a bit of a mushy feeling, and I think I could see bubblegum stuck in behind the switch with the orange warning sticker.
How hard is it to get the door open to clean it out?

Check out this thread for a lot of your questions (in here and in others also).
To summarize though, it's 2 screws (one where the handle is, you'll take a small flathead and pop out the plastic, while the other one is the LED under the armrest of the door.... you'll pop that out and you'll see a screw back there). After you PULL the bottom half of the door out and PUSH up so it unhinges itself from the window.

Hi XxGoKoUxX I got the door cover off from inside the car, with a bit of struggle, but your instructions were a great help.
The cable that is controlled by the plastic part with the red warning label (showing it is unlocked) had broken away from the plastiic. So I pulled the cable forward manually (for one last time), and just stuffed the cable end down in the door. Now that part does not function, but I can live with that. The kid lock was also on (down), so I had to get into there with some thin screwdrivers to flip it up, and then I could open the door. That made it easier to put it all back together. Half of the mounts broke but it seems fine.
Cheers
