Default Buying a 3rd gen

evening gents,

So I'm probably buying a 2006 gs300 awd. Now the car does have High KM its sitting at 351,000 km or 218xxx miles.

I have no idea really what to look for, it has all brand new fluids and when i drove it for the test drive it seemed to be in great driving order! what do you guys have to say about this?

If it were me I'd get the AWD GS350 instead of the GS300. IMO the 3.5 is a better engine.

Too many miles and it’s a gs300. Avoid.

GS300 has inherent flaws such as being direct injection only. You'll be dealing with carbon build up and oil consumption issues inevitably.

Get at least a GS350 to get away from some easily avoidable issues. There was a reason why the GS300 sold with that engine for only two model years and they added port injection in 2007. The "newer" 350 engine from 2007 onward is still used today with no major issues.
