Another VSC, won't start
First off Ive searched and reviewed many threads...there are many related but not same situation.
Car 2007 gs350 awd, 120k miles
So, the wife fueled half a tank, drove 30 min to work, parked, couple hours later car would not start. Turned over, no ignition, lights functioned correctly. Co-worker was able to jumpstart car and lights that were on dash: Trac-Off, 'Check VSC', check engine light, brake system warning light. Over phone I told her to shut it off after jump starting as I wasn't sure what all these indicator lights meant didn't want to cause damage. I then told here to check gas cap as she fueled couple hours earlier. After tightening cap car started without jumpstarting, no indicators on dash as nothing had happened (not definite fuel cap was loose to begin with since car is new to us, very sensitive click).
Since issue has been driven 30 miles and shut off multiple times. Seems it was a loose fuel cap that prevented car from starting. Has anyone been able to jumpstart a VSC light on? Bypass somehow?
Thanks

Lexus Test Driver
Yes mine too just did it. I think it's my battery but I don't know yet. Bunch of lights came up while driving and steering started to get hard right before I parked up. Ima put in my old battery later and check the volts on this recently installed one. Wouldn't be the first defective I get from SEARS smh. I hope is just the battery smh.

OK. Here's my problem with my 2018 GS350AWD. I was driving home last week, when I lost my Bluetooth connection while on a phone call and then my radar detector shut down and weakly displayed "low voltage". Then, one at a time, the following messages displayed on the dash: ABS Failure, Brake System Failure, Low Battery, Traction Control and VSC (or something like that) Failure, then the power steering shut down, all this in a span of less than two minutes. Luckily, I was only a few blocks from my home and was able to get the GS into the driveway. The next morning, I tried to start the car, and NOTHING, so I went over to Walmart and bought a new battery and installed it. The car started and I drove to O'Reilly's where they tested the alternator and said that it was dead. I bought a rebuilt alternator and drove to my mechanic and he installed it a few days later and called me with the bad news. He couldn't get the starter to run! I came over with the aftermarket remote starter FOB (which I have been using for 5 years) and all it did was flash the lights but failed to run the starter. My mechanic then took everything apart to make sure that everything on the wiring harness was well connected (and it was) and then ran out of ideas. Does anyone have any hint at what could be going on? Thanks in advance for your help.

You are in the wrong gen forum (3rd gen here, not 4th gen), but I'll give it a shot.
Buy a genuine Lexus/Toyota battery.
Hard to believe a 4 year old Lexus alternator is bad but if you trust O'Reilly's, buy a genuine Lexus/Toyota alternator, not what they sell.
Disconnect/disable your remote starter.
Think about finding a Lexus/Toyota trained mechanic. Maybe visit the "Car Care Nut" if near Chicago, Illinois. He'll get it fixed.

Sounds like it might be an immobilizer issue. There are 3 devices that needs to communicate with each other for the car to start (key fob, immobilizer cpu, & the main cpu). If any one of these devices doesn't 'agree' with each other, then the car will not start. The mechanic will need to use Techstream to re-program everything.
