Unhappy No crank no start at times..

I bought a 2006 GS300 AWD. 190k miles
I replaced the bad battery in it and when I first got in I press the start button and things seem fine. I press the brake pedal and the amber light on the start button turns green. I hit the button one more time and it cranks over and fires up for 1 second and shuts off. There is no restart after that unless I allow it to sit for 10minutes and then it repeats the start and shut down once, then its back to waiting. I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a day and now it does not want to start or crank over at all, but the amber light turns green when I apply the brake.
Also the check VSC is indicated on the info center of cluster.
Thanks for any help. scratching my head on this one.

Almost forgot the scanner will not communicate. I have a cheap Actron I bought from AutoZone like 15 years ago.

Get another scan tool but I to me it sounds like the fuel rail pressure sensor. Try disconnect that and reconnecting it, some have said that the car turns on temporarly

Ill try that. The scan tool I'm going to try next is a Matco, newer model of course and has all the bells and whistles downloaded. It may take a couple days to get to it with the weather like it is. will report bac with an update. I just hope its not the Multiplex system. Ill have to check the communication lines.

Where did you order the sensor from and do you have a link for others?

Got it at AutoZone 300$

Also I have communication through the scan tool after I replaced sensor. Runs great no codes. The old sensor was shorted causing communication issues with the On board system.
